Dr. TJ Sprague

Dr. Sprague is a trusted dentist near Tulsa who attended the University of Oklahoma before going on to complete his dental degree at the University of Oklahoma Heath Science Center. During his time in dental school, he received the Outstanding Senior Leadership Award and the American Student Dental Association Award of Excellence.

Since completing his degree, he has remained an avid learner, completing numerous continuing education courses focused on cosmetic dentistry, root canal treatment, Invisalign, and dental implant placement and restoration.

To remain at the forefront of dental advancements, he is an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry.

When he's not at the office changing and improving patients' smiles, you'll often find him giving back to the community. He and his wife have taken multiple mission trips and provided dental services to individuals who cannot easily access or afford regular oral healthcare. But addressing dental problems isn't his only goal. He is also committed to share his love of Christ with others.

Dr. Sprague is also a family man, spending much of his time with his wife, Lindsey, and their two children. He's usually watching sports, playing golf, exercising, or having fun with family and friends.

Dr. JP Beller

Using various technologies and techniques to improve smiles, Dr. Beller serves alongside Dr. Sprague as a highly qualified dentist near Tulsa who enjoys helping patients enjoy life with healthier smiles.

Believing it has always been his calling to work in healthcare, he knew as a child that medicine of some sort is what he would end up pursuing. While pursuing his undergraduate degree, he began to learn more about dentistry and eventually attended an event designed for prospective dental students at the University of Oklahoma. Captivated by what he learned, he decided to pursue a career in the dental field.

He realized that dentistry would allow him to combine his love of helping others with his artistic abilities, which is embraced while spending time in his parent's art studio growing up.

After graduating with his bachelor's degree, he went on to attend Southeastern Oklahoma State University before switching to the Medical University of South Carolina, James B. Edwards College of Dental Medicine. There, he earned his dental doctorate.

Since that time, he has earned multiple achievements and dental awards and has co-authored published dental research. Dr. Beller is also certified in nitrous oxide administration. His love of learning has not ceased, as he still pursues continuing education courses to hone his skills.

He's also actively involved in multiple professional organizations, including:

  • American Dental Association
  • Oklahoma Dental Association
  • Academy of General Dentistry

Outside the time he spends in the office, he enjoys making memories with his wife and their beautiful daughter. You'll often find him hiking, golfing, scuba diving, and playing the guitar. He's also passionate about volunteerism and giving back, which he does at local animal shelters and nature preserves.

I'm a new patient here and the first visit went very well. Charm Record was the single best hygienist I've ever had. She was kind, caring, and extremely personable. You can tell it's not just a job for her. Dr Sprague was very professional and explained his thoughts and recommendations well. The facility is nice and warm, also the Christian music playing was pretty cool. I will definitely be coming back.

How much does it cost to get a tooth pulled without insurance?

The cost of a tooth extraction can vary on a variety of factors, including the geography and the health of the patient. The average fee for an extraction in markets across the United States is between $150 and $400. Additional fees could apply depending on the difficulty of the procedure and whether sedation is needed. If you have dental insurance , tooth extractions are often partially covered. If you don’t have dental insurance and are worried about the cost of your treatment, you may want to consider applying for a payment plan through CareCredit – a third-party financing company that can split the cost of your treatment into manageable monthly installments with little to no interest.

What level of education is required to be a dentist?

All dentists in the United States must receive either a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree or a Doctor of Dental Sciences (DDS) degree from one of the 67 accredited dental schools in the country. To get accepted into one of these schools, you must have a bachelor's degree. Dental school is 3 years with a combination of classroom and hands-on learning. In order to keep their license, dentists are required to complete a certain number of continuing education hours each year.

How do I find the best place to get dental work done?

The first step is to determine what you are looking for in a dentist. Usually, it is some combination of welcoming your insurance, location, credentials, and hours. In addition, it’s important to consider what kind of dental care you want and need. Are you interested in tooth replacement, cosmetic dentistry, or restorative work? Lastly, you want to get a feel for the practice and how they treat their patients. Checking out patient reviews and reading staff bios are good ways to do this.
